As part of my role at Cal Poly Pomona, I designed, illustrated, and animated a 7-second marquee motion graphic displayed across campus. The marquee served as a playful and eye-catching visual promoting parking services in a creative way.
The final motion graphic was showcased on digital marquees throughout campus, reaching thousands of students, faculty, and visitors. I documented the project by capturing photos and videos of the marquees in action, as well as behind-the-scenes images of my design process.
I designed and illustrated each element of the Park at CPP marquee in Adobe Illustrator, creating bold, playful vector graphics that captured familiar aspects of campus parking. I then brought the design to life in After Effects, animating a grid reveal followed by dynamic transitions and movement. This combination of custom illustration and animation resulted in a fun, eye-catching marquee displayed across campus.
